Hi! We are glad you found us! Our Alpine hotel Schönblick Bellavista in the upper Val Martello, a South Tyrolean valley stretching from the sunny Venosta Valley near the village of Silandro towards the glaciers of Mount Cevedale, is the ideal place for mountain lovers, for those seeking tranquillity but also adventure.
The journey to get here, past old castles, larch and fir forests, strawberry fields and the stunning Lake Gioveretto, along the road that climbs in sharp hairpin bends to an altitude of 2060 metres, is already an experience itself. And right up there, at the end of the Alta Val Martello, you find Schönblick, which means "beautiful view" in English. And what a view! Our strong point is our unique location, perched on a rocky spur dominated by the majestic three-thousand-metre peaks of Cevedale, Gioveretto, Cima Rossa and Croda della Calva that surround it. For over 60 years, we have been a favourite destination for those who know and have fallen in love with the wild Val Martello. If you want to hug and be hugged by the mountains, Schönblick is the right place!

The Alpine-Mediterranean variety of South Tyrolean cuisine has the best of both worlds. On the one hand it offers the great Italian classics such as risotto or pasta. On the other hand, it honours the Alpine culinary tradition of our region with the simplest South Tyrolean dishes such as dumplings or the famous Kaiserschmarrn. And that's also how we do it at Schönblick: only the best for you.
A good morning starts with... breakfast!
From 07:30 a.m to 10:00 a.m
We know: a balanced breakfast is the basis for a perfect day on holiday. That is why every day you will find a buffet with a wide selection of fresh sweet, savoury and healthy products. Naturally, as many as possible from our own territory or home-made. In addition, you will find a good cup of coffee or a relaxing cup of tea and fresh fruit juices to be ready for your adventures in the Stelvio National Park.
Early riser breakfast available for early birds and summit conquerors.
Delicacies from our kitchen
From 7 p.m.
A dinner at Schönblick rounds off your day. Our kitchen team will pamper you with a three-course menu (first course, main course and dessert or fruit) based on South Tyrolean specialities such as Schlutzkrapfen or cheese dumplings, as well as classics of Italian cuisine. We will also be happy to recommend a good glass of wine from our region. Afterwards, you can round off your meal at the bar with a good Italian coffee, grappa or a bitter.

Canederli: an all round temptation
Schönblick is said to serve the best Knödel in the area and we are proud of it. With speck or cheese, beetroot or fir tips, we will show you that an apparently simple dish can also be refined and absolutely delicious. A hymn to South Tyrolean gastronomy!
